Earlier Today, Waterloo Morada Fire District celebrated the retirement of Captain Greg Vitz. After Captain Vitz’s final sign-off at 0800, he was driven home in E15-1 by our personnel.
Captain Vitz began his career as a Firefighter/Paramedic in 1993, serving 26 years and retiring with the Stockton Fire Department. In 2019, Captain Vitz joined our fire district serving an additional 5 years. Captain Vitz brought a magnitude of knowledge and skills to our department and to the county. We thank him for all his years of dedication, service, and leadership to this district and to the profession.
